PlayOn! Sports Promotes Sales Executives Christopher Young and Owen Shull

PlayOn! Sports, the nation’s leading high school sports media company, announced today that sales executives Christopher Young and Owen Shull have both been promoted to senior leadership positions within the company. Young has been upped to Senior Vice President of Sales for the NFHS Network, where he will be responsible for working with national brands and partners. The NFHS Network is the online destination for watching high school sports and other events live and on demand from anywhere at anytime at Shull has been promoted to Senior Vice President & General Manager, PlayOn! Sports Properties, where he will oversee sales, operations, TV distribution, and state marketing agreements for PlayOn! Sports Properties. Young and Shull are both based in Atlanta, Ga.

Young has been with the NFHS Network since 2014. Prior to his current role, Young was the Director of Strategic Sports Partnerships with CBS Altitude, a division of CBS that leveraged all CBS platforms (radio, TV, outdoor, digital, sports, social). He was the General Sales Manager at Sports Radio 790 The Zone for 13 years, where under his leadership, the sales staff became known as one of the most creative and effective sales teams in sports radio. Young has diverse sales experience in radio, TV, digital, event, sponsorships, athlete endorsement, and activation. Originally from Indianapolis, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Purdue University.

Shull has been with PlayOn! Sports since March 2013. Prior to joining the company, he was the Chief Revenue Officer for the Chick-fil-A Bowl and the College Football Hall of Fame where he oversaw all revenues for the Bowl as well as the fundraising effort to relocate the Hall of Fame to Atlanta, GA. Shull spent 18 years in marketing and sales in college athletics. He is from Nashville, TN and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN for his undergraduate degree and Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL for his masters.
