The NFHS Network Presents Football Fridays In Georgia

Three-Hour Show Features Analysis and Live Coverage of More than 30 Area Games

The NFHS Network, a joint venture between the NFHS, its member associations, including the GHSA, and Atlanta-based PlayOn! Sports that covers boys and girls high school sports from across the country, announces “Football Fridays in Georgia,” a comprehensive look at high school football in Georgia anchored by Joel HIllsman and Scott Janovitz airing live every Friday night and featuring analysis, score updates and live look ins to more than 30 football games each week – more than any other football show in Georgia. The three-hour program can be viewed live each Friday night at www.NFHSnetwork.com/GA.

Anchors Joel Hillsman and Scott Janovitz have extensive experience with sports in Georgia and broadcasting. Joel has covered high school and pro sports since 2009 for various outlets including Gwinnett Prep Rally, Georgia Prep Sports, iBN Sports, USA Today and Play On! Sports. Scott has spent the last six years covering every level of the Georgia sports scene, both in print and on air including the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Silverbacks, as well as high school sports for various networks such as Sports Radio 790TheZone, Comcast, GPB and ESPN3.

Each week, Joel and Scott provide information and analysis on football games going on across the state of Georgia in each class. In addition to scoring updates and information pertaining to games, “Football Fridays in Georgia” also provides live look-ins at games in progress and highlights. Fans can see exciting match-ups from all over the state of Georgia in one central location.

The program is live and available to viewers for free at www.NFHSnetwork.com/GA from 7:45 p.m. ET to about 11:00 p.m. ET and is available on demand at the conclusion of the program.

Game coverage is provided by school-produced broadcasts from member NFHS Network School Broadcast Program schools. More than 95 schools in Georgia are a part of this program that provides hands-on broadcast experience for students. The NFHS Network provides the technology and training for schools to self-produce regular season sporting events and school activities. Many of these broadcasts are student-led through a broadcast class or club.
